Forgotten World Motel - Taumarunui

The location of the motel was fantastic, being close to all the shops in town. it was conveniently situated near a good Indian restaurant, various takeaway options, a supermarket, and easy access for vehicles.

Location: the hotel was short walk to a nice river walk nearby, the supermarket and other amenities, and clean. The room with good beds. The staff was pleasant and incredible, offered wake up calls and ironing free of charge. Nothing too much trouble, I had a REALLY NICE stay and will come back.

Had very nice stay of the town and attractions and the weather was such warm. Suite we stayed at was good-sized with easier access to our car. Had central location to the main shopping area of Paeroa...

This place is conveniently located across the street from the supermarket.

I felt welcome. The room felt very clean and fresh. I enjoyed my breakfast which came on time. I will stay again.

My only feedback is that the door had just a simple lock. I would have liked maybe a chain or something similar for extra security.

The staff was pleasant - we will come back. The hotel's position was marvellous, close to GOOD supermarket, the main shopping area and passing trucks, boy racers and vehicles coming and going during the night. It was good to be 2 km away from Golden Kiwi, serving short-orders.

The units are a decent size and spotless. Good beds and heaters in the rooms. Electric blankets available. The motel has a marvelous and perfect location right across from New World supermarket.

Very convenient location for my wife and I, we were attending a meeting of the , NZ Finch Breeders Association, combined with a tour of aviaries in the Taumarunui area. By staying two nights we were able to spread the fatigue of driving from Wellington to Taumarunui and back.

Room got a little hot and stuffy during night so maybe a small fan or such could be available to circulate air.

The hotel was a perfect base for enjoying a shopping area, close to the New World supermarket. the location was great and comfortable - a few steps away from everywhere I wanted to go. - There was cafe Copper Tree Cafe, that I found within 25 minutes' walk of the property.

The deluxe queen studio has a great size and nice decor, it overlooks an inner courtyard and comes equipped with a coffeemaker, fridge, and glassware.

I had a wonderful stay at Forgotten World Motel. The staff were very friendly and cute, making me feel right at home. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, with a cozy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The location of the motel was also convenient, being in the center of town and close to shops and supermarkets. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as a small stove hot plate and a lack of clear instructions, the overall experience was pleasant. I would definitely recommend this motel to others and would consider staying here again in the future. it was a great value for money and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
